Dogtoberfest to Raise Awareness & Funds for K9 Adoptions

Mark your calendars! "DOGTOBER FEST" is set for October 12, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Peterson Park located on Murrieta Road. Sun City K9 and Menifee Valley Humane Society are combining forces to bring you a fundraising event full of fun. The event will feature pet adoptions, a Dog Costume Contest, entertainment, barbecue, bake sale (for doggies and humans), dunk tank, face painting and even a food truck. Both of these non-profits are non-kill shelters seeking to help animals through the generosity of donations and contributions. They need your help to continue to help homeless pets.

The organizers of this event are still seeking basket donations for the raffle, bake sale donations, and volunteers to help with different booths. High school students who need volunteer credit are welcome. Organizers are also looking for vendors who would like to have a booth at the event and are willing to donate a percentage of the profits back to the Humane Society.
