From humble beginnings of personal training, with just a few people in their garage, Quantum still has many clients still with Gus today! Angela chose the name for the business. "Quantum" is a fundamental aspect of energy and heat, representing the physical fitness aspect of the business. The Latin meaning of the word is "how great," representing to them how great God’s love is for all of us.
Gus has always been passionate about health and fitness and states that there is no substitute for the reward of good health.
Earlier in his career, it was a very self-centered passion, as he spent hours upon hours chiseling his body for professional competitions. It wasn’t until later, when he experienced a heart attack (at the early age of 38) that he realized he wanted to make his life count and make an impact in the lives of others. He wanted to give something back that would potentially create a difference in helping others realize a healthier lifestyle, one individual at a time.
