The Temecula Police Department is seeking information from anyone who may have any information related to a carjacking that took place in Old Town Temecula Thursday morning, Aug. 15.
At about 5:26 A.M., officers responded to a report of a carjacking that had just occurred in the 28900 block of Old Town Front Street in Temecula. According to police, the victim parked his black Subaru Impreza four-door sedan, California License 5PBK915, at the curb at that location. Two Latino males walked up to him and one of the males pulled out a pistol, demanded the victim's car keys, and then struck the victim in the head with the pistol.
According to police, the two suspects then robbed the victim and drove away in his vehicle. The victim suffered minor injuries and declined medical attention at the scene.
Suspect No. 1 is described as a Latino male, around 25 years old, 5-foot-6, medium build, wearing a black knit cap, black long sleeve sweater, and brown shorts.
Suspect No. 2 is described as a Latino male, around 25 years old, 5-foot6 to 5-foot-8, medium-large build, short black hair, grey sweat shirt, blue pants.
The weapon used was a black-colored semi-automatic pistol.
