It may never happen, either, because these ducks seem to have a mind of their own. They weren't too afraid of our photographer when he approached them at La Paloma Park off Menifee Road the other day, but they certainly seemed ready to scatter if needed.

Ducks often hang out in the back end of this park because it is adjacent to Menifee Lake. La Paloma Park is open to the public and the view of the lake is impressive, but access to the lake itself is restricted to members of the Menifee Lakes community.
