Bob Duistermars of Menifee United Way calls out a winning number in Wednesday night's raffle during the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce mixer, hosted by Menifee United Way and the Rilynn Building, owned by Brian and Jennifer Walker (second from right). |
The Chamber of Commerce promotes business growth in the community and welcomes prospective new members and residents to its events. Business owners have the opportunity to share highlights of their business with others and exchange ideas about economic growth in the Menifee community.
Mixers also provide the opportunity for business professionals and guests to socialize with community leaders. At left, Menifee Mayor Scott Mann steps between massage therapist Dawn Saidat of Dawn's Oasis and the "patient," City Council member John Denver, to apply some pressure of his own during a chair massage session.
The next Chamber of Commerce mixer is a "morning coffee" at Coldwell Banker Real Estate, 28120 Bradley Road, on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 7:30 a.m. Guest speaker will be County Supervisor Marion Ashley.
The next evening mixer will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3 at the Eastern Municipal Water District, 2270 Trumble Road in Perris, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Chamber of Commerce also supports annual events such as the upcoming Menifee 5th Birthday celebration, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 5 at Mt. San Jacinto College.
When donating raffle prizes, business owners are given the chance to briefly describe their services and increase their branding. Mike Castillejos of U.S. Bank walked away with a Menifee 24/7 cap (right) in one of the many raffle drawings.
The Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce office is located at 29683 New Hub Drive. For information, call 951-672-1991.
