Advertorial Supplement:
Back to school is just around the corner and Carlson Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is gearing up, too.
Now that the craziness of summer vacations and random schedules is behind us, signing up for jiu-jitsu is made possible. With the more regimented schedule of daily classes, fitting in weekly training is made easier. The advantage of training during the school year is that family's schedules generally becomes more routine, making getting to class on a regular basis much more seamless.
Children age 7-12 and adults can both benefit from the physical and mental benefits of jiu-jitsu training. Signing up for simultaneous classes enables children and their parents to train at the same time, in their respective age groups. There are currently several sets of parents and their children who enjoy training together at Carlson Gracie.
Children and adults train in separate classes, and teens 15 years of age or older train with the adult classes. Classes are offered Monday through Saturday for all ages.
Some of the advantages of training together as a family are that they can all work on the techniques with each other outside of the class setting. Because of the hard work it takes to learn and engage in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, it creates something for parents and children to bond over.
The Carlson Gracie mission is to give students, no matter their age, the very best instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Owner and instructor, Orlando Alonso, understands that martial arts training can be intimidating so he strives to create a positive environment that is welcoming to everyone. No matter your experience level, Carlson Gracie will help you reach your personal training goals.
