A woman police said was swimming in Lake Elsinore with her children drowned Friday afternoon.
At approximately 4:27 PM, officers from the Lake Elsinore Police Department responded to the 32000 block of Riverside Drive. According to police, subsequent investigation revealed that a female adult lost control of a floating device and went under the water.
A good Samaritan, passing by in a boat, came upon the children, located the female adult, and pulled her out of the water. The victim was transported to shore and was attended to by Cal Fire rescuers. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The woman has been identified as Lulu Sibisi, 35, of Moreno Valley. The investigation is ongoing.
