Advertorial Supplement:
Provecho Grill was recently named Restaurant of the Year by the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce and for good reason. Since they first opened a little over a year ago, they have built a reputation for outstanding, authentic Mexican fare and a family friendly, always welcoming atmosphere.
With the heat of summer in full swing, Provecho Grill debuts their new summer menu and invites you to come enjoy their food, fun, and air conditioning. People have come to love chef Rosie’s fresh approach to food and her continual introduction of new dishes and menu offerings. The summer menu reflects lighter dishes intended to enjoy over the course of a leisurely meal, and the smaller plates make great appetizers for sharing.
The calamari fries feature tender strips of calamari crusted with panko, fried to crispy perfection and served over papas bravos potatoes with a spicy chipotle sauce. The steak and cilantro empanadas are another delicious starter, stuffed with Mexican cheese, steak, and cilantro, topped with avocado sauce, chipotle, sour cream, queso fresco, and pico de gallo.
Their summer seafood tacos are light and delicious, perfect for a hot day. Enjoy the cool restaurant and fresh food. Try the new Pescado taco, grilled Basa fish topped with mango pineapple salsa, lime cilantro dressing, and cabbage on a flour tortilla. The crispy panko crusted calamari tacos are topped with chipotle sauce, avocado sauce, pico de gallo, cabbage and finished with a sprinkle of jack and cheddar cheese.
The sope was inspired by Mexico City. Because their weather is hot and dry, similar to Menifee, Rosie wanted to draw on their street food for direction. The sope starts with a masa boat filled with black beans, chili verde, chili Colorado, or shredded chicken, lettuce, pico de gallo, avocado sauce, and sour cream.
The Mexican take on flatbread, the huaraches, is also a Mexico City favorite served in the shape of a Mexican sandal. It comes piled high with your choice of shredded beef or chicken, black beans, lettuce, avocado sauce, and pico de gallo and is mouthwatering delicious.
Looker for a lighter option, many menu items are available to order in smaller portions for just $5.95, just ask your server. They also offer whole-wheat tortillas, Greek yogurt, vegetarian options, and other healthy substitutes upon request.
A line up of delightfully fruity, blended margaritas are also now available to accompany your meal; choose from passion fruit, banana, strawberry, or mango for a refreshing take on the classic margarita. Different drink specials are served up every day, and Tecates are always just $2 on Tuesdays.
