Several of you correctly guessed the location of the windmill pictured in yesterday's "Menifee in Pictures" post -- a field alongside Washington Street just east of the intersection of Scott Road and Winchester Road. Here's another one for you.
This is just one of hundreds of dirt roads and paths that make up Menifee's rural landscape. Where is this one located and where does it lead?
"Menifee in Pictures" is a regular feature on Menifee 24/7. Readers are invited to contribute photos for publication. Email your photos as a .jpg file to doug.spoon@gmail.com and we'll select one for publication each day, along with your name as the photographer. Please include your full name on the submission and any explanation about where and when the photo was taken.
Does it really matter where the road is, developers will soon enough be building there and the police will let people speed through, oh wait they won't let them speed there that is in the newer development areas where they actually patrol for problems, unlike the older parts of Menifee where they DO NOTHING to enforce the laws.
