'Delicious' Events During the Month of July at Sun City Library

Join Friends of the Sun City Library every week this month for social events all based on the library's summer reading program, "Reading is Soooooooo Delicious."

Beginning July 12, cooking classes will be held every Friday. Author Allyson Allen will present an introduction to her new book, "Quilted Pages - Story Art Quilts" on July 15. On July 13, musical guest Irenic will perform live music at the Coffee Club.

Scrabble: Fridays  at 1 p.m. - July 5, 19 (Food words get extra points!)

Inspirational Book Club: Monday, July 8 at 4 p.m. ("Five Quarters of the Orange")

Photo Fun: Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. -  July 9 (BBQs and Picnics) & July 23 (Ice Cream)

Meditation: Tuesdays at 6 p.m. - July 9 & 23 / Thursday, July 18 at 10 a.m.

Afternoon Tea Program: Friday, July 12 at 2 p.m. (A B C Tea)

Cooking Class Trio: Fridays at 10 a.m. -  July 12 (Perfect Picnic), July 19 (Tailgate Party) & July 26 (On-the-Road Snacks)

Live Music at The Coffee Club: Saturday, July 13 at 1:30 p.m. (Guest: Irenic)

Author's Spotlight: Monday, July 15 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
Allyson Allen - "Quilts and Cupcakes will be an introduction to Allen's book, "Quilted Pages - Story Art Quilts," as well as a sharing of her original quilts and fiber arts.
