A date with a man she had just met turned out badly for a woman who called police, saying she had been robbed, held against her will and abandoned in Wildomar early this morning.
According to a report from the Wildomar Police Department, officers responded to a reported strong arm robbery that had just occurred. The female victim told officers she was on a date with the suspect, whom she had just met, and they were returning to her residence when the suspect accused the victim of stealing his wallet.
The suspect is identified as Terry Michael Fine, white male adult, 56, of Murrieta. According to police, Fine refused to let the victim out of his vehicle, held her wrist and grabbed her purse as she attempted to exit the vehicle. Fine refused to let her go until he found his wallet.
Fine allegedly drove to the area of Central Avenue and Dunn Street, where he pushed the woman out of his vehicle, still in possession of her purse, and fled the area. Fine was later located at his residence and the victim's purse was recovered. Fine was arrested and later transported to the Southwest Detention Center, where he was booked for robbery, kidnapping, and false imprisonment.
