The Marion V. Ashley Community Center in Menifee will host a Zumbathon to raise money for Families of SMA, a non-profit organization aimed at finding a cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
SMA destroys the nerves controlling voluntary muscle movement.
The often fatal disease affects millions of people in America. It is the number one genetic killer of children under the age of two years old.
The Marion V. Ashley Community Center is located at 25625 Briggs Rd., Menifee, CA 92585.
A free t-shirt and bracelet will be provided for those who register for the fundraiser early.
