A note from the Senior Editor:
Here at Menifee 24/7, we're excited that the Kids Edition has caught on at Mesa View Elementary School in Menifee. Many of the first graders are now submitting stories and drawings, and we hope the interest spreads to other grades and other schools. Because we have so many more submissions now, we are expanding Menifee 24/7 Kids Edition to twice a week -- Tuesday and Friday.
We believe it is important for our children to develop their creative skills and see the rewards that come with a good accomplishment. We also believe in helping them develop computer skills other than playing video games. So please encourage the students whose work you see here. Leave a comment here and let them know you appreciate their efforts!

A Note from the Junior Editor:
Wow, Menifee 24/7 now lets us put our stuff here on Fridays too. Thanks, Menifee 24/7!
Look at the three fairy tale stories we picked this time. Elijah wrote a story about the three little Aliens. I don't want to meet any of them. Look at the drawings. They're scary.
Seth wrote about the three little kids and the vampire. I don't like vampires either. But I guess Seth does.
Liam wrote about the three foxes and Yellow Riding Hood. You can see a picture of the foxes in front of her house.
This is so much fun! We'll do some more on Tuesday. Can we get more kids to send in stuff?

There are two ways to submit content for Menifee 24/7 Kids Edition.
One, items may be mailed to this address:
Menifee 24/7 Kids Edition
31026 Fair Hill Court
Menifee, CA 92584
Two, submissions may be emailed to menifee247kids@gmail.com. If your child drew something, scan it or take a picture of it and attach it to the email. If your child wrote something, we'd prefer to receive it in the original handwritten form. If it is typed into the email by the child, let us know it's their original work. If a parent retypes the work, assure us that your child dictated the content or wrote it out first.
Please have your child keep written submissions brief. Include the child's first name only, and his or her age.
