Temecula Police Tuesday arrested a second suspect in connection with an April 19 burglary that resulted in a crashed getaway car in French Valley.
Justin John Holschlag, 39, of Poway, was booked into the Southwest Detention Center for burglary and possession of stolen property.
On April 19 about 2:45 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 4100 Block of Placer Lafite in Temecula and interrupted a burglary in progress. A single suspect drove away from the residence and officers initiated a vehicle pursuit. The suspect subsequently crashed his car in the area of Winchester Road and Auld Road and was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.
Investigators from the Temecula Police Department developed information establishing that the original suspect in this case had an accomplice who was acting as a lookout. Investigators were able to identify Holschlag as the accomplice and arrested him at his residence in Poway on Tuesday. A search of the residence located stolen property from two other burglaries which occurred in the City of La Quinta.
Anyone with additional information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Investigator James Dickey at the Temecula Police Department at 951-696-3000.
