Story updated at 9:15 p.m.:
Riverside County Fire Department officials have determined the cause of a fire at Lake Elsinore Saturday to be kids playing with fireworks.
Firefighters reported containment at 4:30 p.m. today of a wildfire that was first reported at 1:01 p.m. at 2 Via de Luna, in an area of light brush just south of the lake. Nine engine companies and firefighters knocked down the fire and some have remained on site for mop-up duties.
The fire covered 20 acres, not five as originally reported, fire officials said. No one was injured.
