Menifee 24/7 created a sports section to highlight the performances of local athletes, but we've been slow to get out of the batter's box. To populate the sports section with content, we need your help. In short, we need more submissions like this -- a great shot taken by Peggy Hughes of 6-year-old Brody Jackson, who plays for the Shetland Angels in Menifee Pony Baseball.

If you do your part, we'll do our. Email photos and information to menifee247sports@gmail.com. We'll do our best to get on the ball and post scores and highlights in a timely manner. We'll accept information about Little League, Pony League, other youth sports, high school sports -- even senior leagues.
