The Mt. San Jacinto College Department of Music has several performances scheduled for Concert Week, beginning on Thursday, April 25.
The schedule of performances:
April 25-26, Thursday and Friday, 7:30 p.m: Jazz Ensemble.
Friday, May 3, 7:30 p.m: Guitar Ensemble/Instrumental Chamber Ensemble.
Saturday, May 4, 2 p.m.: Music Student Showcase.
Saturday, May 4, 7:30 p.m: Menifee Campus Singers.
Sunday, May 5, 2 p.m.: Menifee Campus Singers.
Performances will take place in the Menifee Valley Campus Lab Theatre, 28237 La Piedra Road. Ensembles are the highlight of the music program at MSJC. Students perform for the public in a variety of settings:
-- Guitar Ensemble: Classical guitar in an intimate setting.
-- Instrumental Chamber Ensemble: Small group orchestral sounds.
-- Menifee Jazz Ensemble: An adventurous set of modern big band jazz.
-- Music Student Showcase: Solo and small group performances by several talented singers and instrumentalists.
-- Menifee Campus Singers: MSJC's fine choral group.
