Burtoe Vazquez is in his 30s now, but he's been hanging around the Menifee Bicycles shop since he was 8 years old. After working in another profession for 10 years, he came "home" to work in the busy little bike shop on Newport Road.

A family-owned business, Menifee Bicycles has been serving customers in town since 1982, when it opened as Sun City Bicycles. Started by Scott Cooper and his son Craig, Menifee Bicycles has been at its current location for 11 years in the shopping center at the corner of Newport and Murrieta roads.
Craig Cooper now runs the shop, carrying on the tradition of his late father. Craig's daughter Tina has also joined the business, adding a third generation of family care and dedication. With more than 32 years in the retail bicycle industry, Craig has the expertise to advise customers on the purchase and maintenance of the right bike for them.
