Officials of the Interstate 215 Central Project have announced some new freeway closures in the area over the next week as crews work to widen the freeway:
Sunday, April 14 through Thursday, April 18, 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. each night:
Full freeway closure of the northbound I-215 between SR-74/Redlands Avenue and Nuevo Road. Detours will be marked.
Freeway lane closures southbound I-215 between Nuevo Road and SR-74/Redlands Avenue. No detour is required because at least one lane will be open.
Freeway lane closures northbound I-215 between Scott Road and Ethanac Road. No detour is required.
Freeway closures southbound I-215 between Ethanac Road and Scott Road. No detour is required.
Southbound I-215 D Street off-ramp full closure. Detour will be marked.
Southbound I-215 Nuevo Road on-ramp full closure. Detour will be marked.
Note: In addition, sound wall construction alongside the southbound I-215 north of McCall Blvd. will continue through the end of the month. The freeway speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph.
