Folk Duo Hungrytown to Perform Saturday at Sun City Library

The folk duo of Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, a married couple billed as Hungrytown, will perform at the Sun City Library Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Hungrytown released two highly acclaimed CDs, Hungrytown (2008) and Any Forgotten Thing (2011), both of which continue to receive much airplay on folk and Americana stations worldwide. According to the group's website, Rebecca and Ken tour full-time throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe, and are now making their first forays into New Zealand.

Their songs have been performed by many other artists, including Nashville songwriting legend David Olney and bluegrass veterans the Virginia Ramblers. Hungrytown's music has also appeared on several television shows, including the Independent Film Channel's hit series, Portlandia.

The event is free to the public. Sun City Library is located at 26982 Cherry Hills Blvd. in the Sun City community of Menifee.
