Here are the Interstate 215 freeway lane closures planned for next week, as announced today by officials of the Interstate 215 Central Project:
Sunday, April 21 through Thursday, April 25, 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. each night:
Full freeway closure of the northbound I-215 between SR-74/Redlands Avenue and Nuevo Road. Detours will be marked.
Freeway lane closures southbound I-215 between Nuevo Road and SR-74/Redlands Avenue. No detour is required because at least one lane will be open.
Freeway lane closures northbound I-215 between Scott Road and Highway 74 South. No detour is required.
Freeway closures southbound I-215 between Highway 74 and Scott Road. No detour is required.
Note: In addition, sound wall construction alongside the southbound I-215 north of McCall Blvd. will continue through the end of the month. The freeway speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph.
Freeway closures for this week, announced here previously, will continue each night. Drivers are urged to leave themselves extra time when traveling this stretch of the 215 in the night and early morning hours.
