The Temecula Police Department continues to seek information related to the robbery and murder of a man in a Temecula music store last Friday, March 22.
Police say Larry Robinson, 64, of Fallbrook, was found bound and beaten about 7:30 p.m. Friday. A semi-retired local musician, Robinson was working as a clerk in Pete's Music and Guitar Shop, located in the 28700 block of Old Town Front Street.
Robinson was transported to a local hospital and died from his injuries Saturday morning. Officers from the Southwest Station and Riverside County Sheriff Department's Central Homicide Unit are conducting the investigation.
Wednesday night, an open mic night was held at Sorrel Restaurant/Bistro to raise funds for Robinson's family.
