The 10th annual "Wines for Canines" event will be hosted by Wiens Family Cellars of Temecula on Saturday, March 2,from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Gourmet wines and dining, live music and dog fashions are on the menu at the event, which will benefit Animal Friends of the Valley. The program will feature a Fido Fashion Show with adoptable shelter animals and a winter buffet by Chef Volker.
In addition to entertainment by Kelly Cowan & Abacus, the afternoon will feature presentations by Executive Director Willa Bagwell and Board President Kristine Anderson, who will share the story of a tireless local humane society as it embarks upon its 26th year in service to the lives of countless animals in need.
Animal Friends of the Valleys is a nonprfit 501(c)(3) organization that depends on donations for support of programs that benefit homeless and disadvantaged companion animals. Tickets of $50 per guest or $350 for a table for eight will support the shelter’s mission to prevent the suffering of animals and end pet overpopulation through proactive educational and animal service programs.
