Each month, we will select a Volunteer of the Month, based on nominations received from you, the readers. If you know of a Menifee resident who deserves special recognition for service to a non-profit organization or who in any way goes above and beyond to help others, let us know. In an email to us, explain in 200 words or less why you believe this person should be the Volunteer of the Month.
To nominate a volunteer, send an email to menifee247info@gmail.com. Please include your name, name of the volunteer, and the service the person provides.
A photo of the Volunteer of the Month will be published on Menifee 24/7 and the award winner will receive a $50 gift card from Provecho Grill, the premier destination for Mexican food in the Menifee/Sun City area.
Give it to the crossing guard guy at the corner of Goetz Rd and Avenida Gaviota by the Circle K and Quail Valley Fire Station. He always waves at every car and gives the kids water on hot days. Very nice man
