Work will begin early this month on a slurry seal project to apply new coating over existing pavement on several local streets, the City of Menifee has announced.
Minor pavement repairs will be completed prior to the slurry seal coating. Construction will take place during the day (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and should be completed by the end of February.
Motorists are reminded to drive with extreme caution in construction areas. "No parking" signs will be posted on streets during the coating process.
For a map of the affected areas, see the City of Menifee website.

Considering all of the other road concerns around town, this sounds like a salesman for Slurry seal got lucky. Who actually initiated this project and how did it get to the top of the list?
