Don't forget that Menifee 24/7 has other sections besides this main news feed on our blog site. They are listed on the top bar of this home page. Check them daily for updates.
Today in our columns section, you can read Michelle Walsh's latest "Menifee Mom" column, one of our most popular new features. That section also includes Editor Doug Spoon's tribute to two departed leaders of the community, Carmelita Rood and Tom Carpenter, and Bill Rhoads' latest "tips on life."
Special note: We are looking for a male, approximately between the ages of 25 and 50, to write a weekly column for us. The working theme is "a man's adventures in Menifee." We'd like to have a man's perspective on the recreational opportunities here -- hiking, horseback riding, off-roading, fishing, maybe just working on your car. In short, what would you like to brag to the other guys about or what secrets about our scenic area would you like to let them in on?
If you're interested in applying for this position, email doug.spoon@gmail.com and tell us why you're a good fit for the job. Include some writing samples if possible.
Thanks, and enjoy the columns section along with the rest of our website.
