Arts Council Menifee has announced open auditions for its production of "Death Plays A Role", a murder mystery dinner.
The auditions will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Center for Spiritual Living, 26805 Murrieta Rd, Menifee. There are roles for five women and two men within the age range of 40 to 70. An ability to do an Irish accent is desirable but not required.
"Actors will learn their characters rather than learn lines, so that they can interact with each other and the dinner guests to unfold the plot," said Linda Denver, director and Theater Arts Division Chair of Arts Council Menifee.
Performance dates for the mystery dinner are March 15 at 6 p.m. and March 17 at 5 p.m. at Kay Ceniceros Center. Tickets are $20 per guest. For more information, email theater@artscouncilmenifee.org or call 951-672-1731.
