Heritage High School, the Sunbelt League football champion this year and a CIF Southern Section finalist a year ago, remained on a roll in the Central Division quarterfinals Friday night at Ramona High in Riverside.
Jamal Morrow rushed for 203 yards and the Patriots jumped out to an early lead on the way to a 35-7 victory over Arlington. The win puts Heritage (11-1) in the semifinals next week against Kaiser High of Fontana in a game that will be played at Heritage.
Sione Takitaki added to the winning cause with 144 yards and two touchdowns rushing. Quarterback Mat Bradshaw passed for two touchdowns to Marvin Hifo. After Jamal Morrow re-injured his knee, younger brother Isiah came on to score the team's final TD.
Heritage's semifinal round opponent, Kaiser, advanced Friday night with a 14-10 victory over Temescal Canyon. Kaiser is also 11-1 this season.
If Heritage wins its game next Friday and Paloma Valley beats Rancho Verde in the other bracket, the Central Division championship game will be an all-Menifee affair on Nov. 30.
