Sherry Durado has been collecting Christmas novelties for as long as she can remember. With over 25 different themed trees placed throughout her Sun City home and thousands of decorations filling it to the brim, Sherry is ready to once again open her home to the public.
“Every year I like to open up my home to help sponsor a different organization,” she explained. “This year I am helping the Sun City Concern, who I also helped last year.”
Sherry began decorating her home, with the help of several Paloma Valley High School students, the week before Halloween.
On December 1, 2, and 8 from 11-2:30 pm, anyone is welcome to come and check out Sherry’s well decorated home. Visitors are asked to make a donation of $5 to the Sun City Concern.
The Christmas House is located at 28653 Carmel Drive in Sun City.
