Hospice of Valleys Medical Director to Receive Award

The Riverside County Advisory Council on Aging, Office on Aging and the Board of Supervisors will present Dr. Laurence H. Boggeln, medical director for Hospice of the Valleys, with a proclamation to honor him with the George Telisman Award.

The ceremony will take place on Oct. 16 at 9 a.m. in the County Administrative Center, first floor, 4080 Lemon Street in Riverside.

The purpose of the George Telisman Memorial Award is to recognize individuals from Riverside County who have proven outstanding leadership and commitment in ensuring the integrity of seniors and adults with disabilities as they receive services assisting them to remain independent and in their homes and communities.

Ed Walsh, director of the Office on Aging, and Gary Kelley, vice chair of the Advisory Council, will make the presentation.
