Free Shuttle Service Offered From Sun City to Birthday Bash

The City of Menifee invites residents of the Sun City community to use the free evening shuttle service to attend the fourth annual Menifee Birthday Bash celebration. The event is scheduled for this Saturday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Mt. San Jacinto College, 28237 La Piedra Road.

The free shuttle service will operate continuously from 5-10 p.m. It will pick up party-goers at the Sun City Civic Association’s north parking lot, located on the southwest corner of Cherry Hills Boulevard and Sun City Boulevard, and take them across town to the event at Mt. San Jacinto College. The shuttle will make return trips during and after the event, dropping off passengers at the Sun City Civic Association parking lot.

"We are providing the free shuttle service to help connect our Sun City residents who may need assistance traveling across town to one of our biggest community events," said City Manager Bill Rawlings. "The Birthday Bash is a great example of the city’s dedication to creating a safe, inviting community with amenities for all of our residents."

The city hopes to expand shuttle services such as this to other events and areas throughout the year.
