Brent Boehm passed for 182 yards and four touchdowns and David Solis ran for 121 yards and a TD to lead the Paloma Valley High School football team to a 49-6 victory over visiting Perris Thursday night in the Wildcats' Homecoming game.
The win enabled the Wildcats to even their Sunbelt League record at 1-1 and improve their overall record to 6-1. Paloma has now outscored the opposition, 318-96.
Paloma Valley led 21-0 after the first quarter, 35-0 at halftime, and had a shutout until late in the game. Solis was everywhere for the offense, throwing a 77-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Page and catching a 23-yard TD pass from Boehm in addition to his rushing yardage.
CJ Parker, Steven Mayo and Matt Orzech also caught touchdown passes for the Wildcats, who compiled 387 yards. Meanwhile, the Paloma Valley defense held Perris to minus-18 yards total offense.
Cody Lewis led the defense with seven total tackles, followed by Richard Krottmayer with five.
Next Friday, Paloma Valley will play at crosstown rival Heritage. The Patriots (5-1) play a 7 p.m. game at Temescal Canyon tonight.
