Saturday's Birthday Bash celebrating Menifee’s fourth year of cityhood has many events planned for all members of the community.
Car enthusiasts will have the opportunity to take a walk down memory lane as the Menifee Motor Madness event showcases a variety of classic, pre-1973 cars.
More than 200 cars will roll into the parking lot at Mt. San Jacinto College for the showcase beginning at 7 a.m., and the event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Awards will be presented in two categories: Best in Show and the People’s Choice Award. The latter of the two will be determined via public contribution to a fundraiser held by the Rotary Club of Menifee. Collection containers will be placed by each participating car, and spectators can drop quarters into the bins next to their favorite classic cars. All proceeds will be donated to the Veteran’s Memorial Fund.
For more information about the Menifee Motor Madness event, visit their website, or contact Chuck Cena at 909-261-1309 or Rob Johnson, Senior Manager, Community Improvement, at rjohnson@cityofmenifee.us or (951) 672-6777.
