Menifee residents are urged to attend tonight's candidates forum to hear from those who are running for mayor and city council seats in the Nov. 6 election.
The event, sponsored by Menifee 24/7, begins at 6:30 p.m. at Paloma Valley High School, 31375 Bradley Road in Menifee. It will be held in the school's auditorium, near the circular driveway at the Bradley Road entrance to the school.
The candidates include:
Mayor: Darcy Kuenzi, Scott Mann, John F. Smith
District 1: Greg August, Sue Kristjansson, Nick Martin, Carol Sullivan
District 3: Bill Zimmerman, Wallace Edgerton
Candidates will give opening and closing statements and will answer questions prepared in advance, including questions submitted by our readers. Residents will have an opportunity to hear the answers live and interact with candidates after the program. No questions will be accepted from the audience during the event, however.
If you have a question you would like posed to one or all of the candidates, email it today to doug@cleardigitalmedia.com. Questions should be submitted by 3 p.m. today.
This is an important time in the history of Menifee. We hope residents take their responsibility as voters seriously and use this important opportunity to become more informed in order to cast a vote that will effectively shape our community.
