Last year, nearly 200 motorcycle riders joined together to raise funds for the shelter animals. This year, on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event kicks off at Animal Friends of the Valleys' shelter facility with a private VIP tour for riders who’ve registered for the event. It ends at VFW post 1508 across the street in Wildomar.
This annual ride raises funds for homeless yet healthy, adoptable animals by having local riders participate in the Poker Run. Participants ride in support through the towns of Sun City, Rainbow on a 77-mile tour with a quick stop at The Chopper Gallery in Temecula and end their day at the VFW to enjoy the sounds of The Filthy Beggars while dining on tacos prepared by Rough Riders Motorcycle Club.
Auctions, raffles and prizes generate the donations needed for our animals in search of forever loving homes during the ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge.
