State Assembly Candidate Melendez to Address Southwest Conservative Republicans at Canyon Lake Country Club

Lake Elsinore City Council member Melissa Melendez, Republican candidate for the California Assembly in District 67, will speak to a Southwest Conservative Republicans gathering on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. at Canyon Lake Country Club.

Melendez, who would represent Menifee and surrounding areas, has been endorsed by several local conservative organizations, including the Murrieta Temecula Republican Assembly and Temecula Women Federated.

Guests will have an opportunity to ask questions of Melendez. The second scheduled speaker is Don Dix, president of Act! Corona. He will discuss political Islam and give an update on Act! for America.

There will be no charge for the event, but guests are expected to buy their own lunch. Canyon Lake Country Club is located at 32001 Railroad Canyon Road in Canyon Lake.
