A presentation of the City of Menifee's strategic plan and six-month strategic objectives will be presented Tuesday night at the City Council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. at Menifee City Hall, 29714 Haun Road.
This plan is the product of much discussion and goal-setting, including a six-hour strategic planning session led by an outside facilitator in June. Topics discussed then included plans for road improvements, attracting more businesses to the community and improving relationships among council members.
One item on the consent calendar for Tuesday night is the request for approval of a team-building council retreat on Aug. 15 with Marilyn Snider, the facilitator who led the previous session.
In addition, there will be a public hearing regarding the extension of a moratorium on approval of underground storage facilities and bunkers. A resolution regarding the city's emergency operations plan will also be introduced.
