Provecho Grill has a way of making their customers feel at home the moment they walk through the front glass doors. Be it their sincere service or their truly homemade food, Mexican fare has never tasted so close to the border.
Add to the list of reasons we love Rosie and her crew two nights of live entertainment a week, and well, we’ve got ourselves a forever favorite establishment.
Thursday
Kicking off Summer Night entertainment in true Provecho style, the Brothers of Latin Jazz will play live every Thursday night from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. This family friendly style of music and singing will serenade restaurant goers with lively salsa song and dance.
Friday – Sunday
Following Thursdays excitement on Friday night, live musical entertainment by the Llalos de Michoacan mariachi band will start your weekend off right form 5:30 to 8:30 PM. Together they’ve been playing world-renowned traditional Mexican music for twenty-seven years in places as diverse as Mexico, Argentina, Paraguay, and California.
The mariachi songs they sing are as much a part of the culture as the food Rosie cooks in her Provecho kitchen. So together, these two authentic elements create an atmosphere second only to actually dining at a cantina in Mexico.
The combination of instruments including trumpets, violins, the Mexican bass, the sitar, along with strong vocal accompaniments promise to entertain and enlighten.
Every Friday through Sunday, in addition to live entertainment, Provecho puts together featured menu items from all over Mexico. This coming week Rosie will be cooking up El Mariachi sampler plate featuring steak, one mole chicken enchilada and costa azul bacon wrapped shrimp served with beans and rice.
The weekend brunch menu runs every Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM until 1 PM. Enjoy bottomless mimosas, your choice of authentic breakfast entrees, fresh fruit, and sweet Danish for only $12.95.
To cure the common hangover, and just because it’s delicious, Provecho serves up homemade Menudo all weekend long too.
Monday
Mondays are now officially deemed Margarita Mondays at Provecho Grill, where house margaritas are only $3 all day long. Happy hour starts at 3 until 6 PM and pours even more drink deals and specials.
For sustenance, the start of the week has become known for it’s amazing one day only Pozole. A combination of pork and hominy in a light chili broth, the Aztec Indians used to offer this Pozole concoction to the Gods to celebrate another year but at Provecho they use it to celebrate the start of another week.
Tuesday
Tuesdays are of course taco day at every Mexican restaurant, anywhere, and Provecho carries on the tradition with a featured $1 crispy tacos and the $2 beer of the week.
Wednesday
Wednesdays have recently been proclaimed Wine Down Wednesdays, to get you over the hump and through the end of the week. Sangria is only $3 all day with specials from Wiens Wines as well.
Pair your glass of vino with Sizzling Fajitas Supremas for two. Chicken, beef, and shrimp comes serves with homemade guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, warm tortillas, a generous side of rice and beans, and finished with a specialty dessert.
Stop by Provecho any day of the week for good food, fun, and company.
