If you had your motorcycle stolen in Menifee in the past couple of weeks, the police department may have recovered it.
On Friday, June 29, 2012, deputies from the Menifee Police Department's Special Enforcement Team followed up on a lead in reference to multiple vehicle thefts originating from the city of Menifee. A parole check was conducted at the Wildomar home of Kelly Packard, 22 years, currently on State Parole for weapons charges.
A search of Packard's residence revealed five motorcycles stolen from several victims within the city of Menifee over the previous two weeks. Through subsequent investigation deputies also charged Packard with the theft of a Ford F350 pick-up also stolen out of Menifee.
Kelly Packard was arrested and charged with six counts of Grand Theft Auto and a Parole Violation. He was booked at the Southwest Detention Center.
