Moms Running Club Seeks New Members

A moms running club recently formed in Menifee is open to area residents interested in staying in shape by running for pleasure and competition.

The Menifee/Murrieta/Temecula chapter of CA Moms Run This Town has more than 50 members so far and continues to expand. Club members get together to run on weekends and have plans for weekday runs as schedules permit. Some members also compete in organized runs, including one member who is training for an Ironman race.

The group is designed to provide support and encouragement for new runners and to provide opportunities for seasoned athletes as well. Fifteen club members are scheduled to compete in the Murrieta Mud Run in September.
