Dogs that come to Sun City K9 Adoptions are usually mixed breed, but today’s little guy is an absolute Chihuahua head to tiny tail.
Adoptable pet of the week, Tiger.
Name: Tiger
Breed: Purebred short coat Chihuahua
Age: 6 years
Gender: Male, neutered
Temperament: Tiger is a sweet purebred Chihuahua who would do best in an adult home, or with older children. He was raised in an all adult home so he is not used to young children and babies and does not do well around them.
At one time he was an indoor housedog, but he will of course need to be reminded of housetraining and indoor rules as he has been in the Sun City K9 kennels for some time. He gets along with other small dogs and could be in a home with other dogs.
Tiger’s story: Tiger came from a loving home but was unfortunately relinquished by his owner because she could no longer care for him. She was working two jobs and did not have the time to dedicate to taking care of Tiger. So now he waits for someone who has the time to love him, all the time.
