Menifee National Night Out held this past weekend at Wheatfield Park brought in a huge crowd of excited families. Children of all ages, intrigued adults, and even many leashed canines enjoyed an evening of interactive, informational booths and demonstrations from all areas of law enforcement.
Amoung many live demonstrations throughout the evening, below firefighters demonstrate how they would rescue passengers involved in an accident using the jaws of life.
Riverside Mounted Posse sat high atop their trained horses as children had the opportunity to ask questions and nuzzle the nose of these gentle giants.
Riverside County Sheriff Special Enforcement Bureau displayed their state of the arch vehicle and select weapons.
Emergency response vehicles were each attended by outfitted emergency personnel who explained their equipment and responsibilities to captivated children (and adults).
A children's area entertained little ones with face painting, craft booths, toys, balloons, and several gigantic bounce houses.
Riverside County Fire opened up their firetrucks for an all inclusive peek inside at real equipment used to fight fires, and handle other emergencies.
