Menifee 24/7 Adoptable Pet of the Week: Joey

Today’s little pup was left tied to the Sun City K9 fence during the night, only to be discovered by the wonderful staff in the morning. It is not known why he was relinquished but he is just as happy and healthy as can be.

Breed: Chihuahua mix

Age: 9 months

Gender: Male/ neutered

Temperament: Joey is a sweet little guy with a lot of love to give. He is very affectionate and shy. He plays well with other dogs and is gentle enough to be around children.

He came to Sun City K9 Adoptions as a puppy so he is not yet housetrained, but he is young enough to train and learn new cues.



Joey’s Story: Joey was left at Sun City K9 Adoptions along with two other small dogs with no information or reason. He was only a couple months old at the time and very scared. He is now well adjusted to life in his safe kennel at SCK9 and is just waiting to find his forever home.
