Two of the teenagers, Connor Fritz and Greg Gonzalez, are seniors at Heritage High School, scheduled to walk at graduation this Saturday. The other two boys, Donovan Adams and Michael Navarette, graduated last June from Heritage with the class of 2011.
Unfortunately, Donovan Adams passed away this evening after the accident that occurred around 3:30 this afternoon. An impromptu memorial was held at the high school football stadium in his honor.
Donovan's Facebook page is filled to the brim with posts from mourning friends and family members paying their last respects. Countless posts annotate his successes in life as a student, an athlete, and a beloved friend and family member. It is true what they say, "only the good die young."
Donovan Adams was a star athelete and was well known and loved on the Heritage High School campus. |

ReplyDeleteThis breaks my heart. Donovan's mom, Eileen has lived in my neighborhood for over 20 years, and he grew up here. Such a tragedy!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad. My heart goes out to these boys and their family.
ReplyDeleteMy son was 25 years old, so I know how you feel. I found that the trust in the Lord and a lot of time has been my healing.
