Menifee 24/7 Adoptable Pet of the Week: Michael

Today’s little guy is one of the coolest, most unique dogs we have ever seen. His fluffy fur coat somewhat resembles that of a wolf, and while his petite size suggests otherwise, we think this pup is perhaps part wild animal and every bit awesome (and beautiful!).

Name: Michael

Breed: Terrier mix

Age: 1 year

Gender: Male, neutered

Temperament: Michael is pretty young and still has lots of puppy playfulness left in him. He is very energetic and would do well in a home that can exercise him regularly.

He gets along with the other dogs at Sun City K9 and has a sweet demeanor. He is however, a little jumpy and might overwhelm small children.

Michael’s Story: Michael was a sad little stray, until he was brought into Sun City K9 where he now gets to play all day. He would love to find a forever home with an active family.

Sun City K9 is the only no-kill rescue in the area, so they keep homeless dogs as long as it takes to find them a family. Support SCK9’s mission to serve local animals, donate or shop their upcoming garage sale. All benefits go directly back into the shelter.

They also host adoptions every weekend at the Menifee Petco in Countryside Marketplace. On Saturday you can find them there from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM, and on Sundays from 10:00 am until 2:30. Michael will be onsite at Petco all weekend long, (or until he gets adopted!) so come on out to meet him.
