Dr. Vadim Gurvits Provides Local Residents Quality Care in All Situations, All the Time

Meet Dr. Vadim Gurvits, D.O. Serving patients in the Menifee area since 1999, Dr. Gurvits goes out of his way to provide every type of medical service possible -- at virtually any time. His office is open six days a week, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. And get this: The office is open on all holidays.

If you walk into Dr. Gurvits' office on Christmas Day, he will be there to greet you.

"We're here for patients who can't access timely health care, including after hours and on weekends," Dr. Gurvits said. "A lot of people are neglected by the health care system because of obesity, addiction and other factors. Here we offer same-day appointments, we accept walk-ins, and we don't charge any extra for it. We'll accept whatever the patient's insurance pays."

Dr. Gurvits' Premier Family Care practice offers a variety of medical services. These include family practice issues, pediatric care, senior care, medical weight loss, minor surgery and suboxone treatment for opiate addiction. Through his Premier Urgent Care practice, he treats emergency conditions and transports patients to a hospital if needed.

Patients can receive X-rays right there in the office. The office does not close for lunch hour, either.

"We try to be a one-stop shop," Dr. Gurvits said. "We provide compassionate care and pick up where other physicians left off.

"A lot of things we do have to do with the shortcomings of the medical system elsewhere. A lot of doctors take weekdays off to play golf, they're closed every Saturday and holidays ... they don't want to help obese patients develop a healthy lifestyle or help people who are addicted. Here, we offer concierge-like care."
