This Saturday be sure to enjoy the annual Menifee Arts Showcase at Countryside Marketplace (I-215 and Newport). The event, taking place from 11 until 4, is free and fun for all ages.
Sponsored by the Marketplace and presented by Arts Council Menifee, the Showcase will feature many local fine artists displaying their creations in oil, watercolor and acrylics, plus extraordinary photography.
There will also be two stages, one behind the Beer Hunter and one near Chipotle (by the scenic pond). Onstage will be a wide range of talented performers, from a native American Indian flutist to a harmonica player, from a country-rock band to a classical electrical guitarist; from a teen country soloist to a senior duo singing Golden Oldies. Bands playing are "Steady Impact" from Temecula, "Keenwild" from Menifee, and "Full-Frontal-Noodity" from Lake Elsinore.
Stop by a Arts Council's booth (one will be near Starbucks and Painted Earth) to pick up handouts. Learn about ways ACM is "Bringing the Arts to Menifee and Local Artists to the Public".
