You may have seen them standing by the Sun City post office, or somewhere else around town, holding signs and collecting signatures.
These advocates for the cause are rallying attention around a growing public problem that most people don’t realize is happening right in our own backyard. The issue at hand is Human Trafficking and its increasing prevalence is taking place here in Riverside County.
Join guest speaker Darlene Tarnoski on Friday, March 9, 2012 for An Hour Of Change; a special presentation on human trafficking in our community. Darlene is the program director for the local non-profit organization, Women Against Child Trafficking.
She will be sharing the realities of Human Trafficking as well as ways to spot situations happening around you. “Safety and change can only come from AWARENESS. Your help is needed to stop the spread of human trafficking.”
This program is suggested for ages 12 and up only.
