Adoptable Pet of the Week

These past few weeks have been extremely successful for Sun City K9 Adoptions. Thanks to the support and compassion from the community, dogs are finding new forever homes in no time at all. So fast in fact, that Friday's pet of the week was adopted before we could even post about him the next day!

There are always animals in need of new homes, so for today we have the cutest little Chihuahua who is just looking to be loved. This month seems to be Chihuahua month at Sun City K9, with lots of new pups coming in.

Name: Mija

Breed: Chihuahua

Age: 1 year, possibly a little younger

Gender: Female, spayed

Temperament: Mija is very shy. He has had a rough first year of life and is hesitant around new people. Once she becomes familiar she quickly warms up and loves to cuddle on a friendly lap. She gets along well with other dogs and is teeny enough to make the perfect little companion for another dog.

Mija's story: Mija was found with her big brother, Mijo, who was adopted on Friday. They were scared and wandering around the streets of Perris. Since coming to Sun City K9 she has adjusted well, but is now missing her recently adopted brother.
