Adoptable Pet of the Week

Dogs have definable personalities just like people. With that being said, the best way to describe this week’s furry friend is to say he an all around happy pup.

After finding his way to Sun City K9 Adoptions just a couple weeks ago, he quickly became a favorite amongst staff and volunteers.

Adoptable pet of the week, Jason.


Name: Jason

Breed: Poodle bichon mix

Age: 2 years

Gender: Male, neutered

Temperament: Jason is an extremely affectionate dog. He loves to cuddle and his small size allows him to curl up perfectly on any friendly lap.

He adores walks and play time. He gets along well, and absolutely loves, his dog friends. His gentle demeanor makes him good with children too.

He is housebroken and would make a wonderful addition to any family.

Jason’s story: When Jason was first found wandering around Menifee and brought into Sun City K9 he looked long neglected. His coat was badly dreaded and matted to his skin.

After a long session at the groomer Jason is back to being soft, fluffy, and of course, happy. His coat is made of hair instead of fur, which makes him hypoallergenic and awesome for children and people with allergies.

Jason will be hanging out at Petco in the Countryside Marketplace this weekend if you’d like to come meet the little guy. SCK9 will host their adoptions at Petco on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 2:30 PM and on Sunday from 10:00 AM until 2:30 PM.
